Their palette, in their pocket.
Clients may already have physical swatches from their analysis. This is one more convenient reference for shopping, getting dressed, and traveling — alongside their physical palette, never instead of it.

Season Approved helps people keep using what a professional color analysis taught them — while they shop, get dressed, and pack. Made for people who already know their season, and designed to live alongside professional analysis.

Their established palette on their phone, and a way to see how everyday colors work with it.
Clients may already have physical swatches from their analysis. This is one more convenient reference for shopping, getting dressed, and traveling — alongside their physical palette, never instead of it.

Point the camera at a color from everyday life and understand how it works within the palette they already know. It may not be an exact match, but it can still harmonize beautifully.

Winter shown. Every season included.

We say “harmonizes with your palette,” not “exact match” to a physical swatch.
A palette should make choices more informed, not color feel off-limits.
Knowing your season doesn’t mean replacing your closet. Keep working with and styling what you love.
Closet insights show what you already have before you add more.
Another way to keep using what they know, between appointments and every day after.
Season Approved does not determine a user’s season. It works from the season they already know.
“I built Season Approved because I loved what I learned through professional color analysis and wanted an easier way to use that knowledge every day.”Ciera · Founder, Season Approved
No — and it never will. Season Approved is built for people who already know their season from a professional analysis. The client tells the app the season they were given, and everything else starts from there. Nothing in the app, including its AI, determines, diagnoses, predicts, or changes a season.
It helps apply an established palette to everyday decisions. It reads the color of garments and compares them with the palette, sorts a closet by color, searches across retailers by season and color, explains in plain language why a piece works beside the palette, and answers questions inside Hue. It does not analyze a person’s coloring, and it isn’t asked to. An assistant working from the analysis, never an analyst performing one.
There’s nothing for it to disagree with. The app doesn’t evaluate the client’s season, so it has no opinion on whether an analysis was right. It works only on the garments and decisions in front of the client. If anything in the app ever suggests otherwise, that’s a mistake on our side, and we’d want to know.
It’s guidance, not a verdict. Product photography, screen calibration, fabric, dye, and the light in a room all change how a color appears, and no phone replaces daylight or a drape held up in person. That’s why Color Detect and the rest of the app talk about harmony rather than exact matches: a color may not be an exact match to a swatch and can still sit beautifully beside a palette. The app explains its results and invites clients to flag anything that looks off. When a client is unsure, your judgment should win.
The client sets the season they were given — and sub-season, where they have one — and the app works from that palette: a fixed set of named, coded colors. The palette is a reference, not a diagnosis. Nothing in the app recalculates it, adjusts it for the individual, or infers it from a photo. Your analysis, your notes, and the guidance you gave in person always come first.
No. Season Approved is an independent company. It is not sponsored, endorsed, owned by, or officially partnered with House of Colour, and nothing here is House of Colour marketing. We mention House of Colour only as a matter of fact: it performs its color analysis in person, and we respect and support that philosophy. Our founder is a personal advocate for professional, in-person analysis — that’s a point of view, not a partnership.
No, and it isn’t meant to. The digital palette is simply one more convenient reference, kept alongside the physical swatches and materials from an analysis. Those services rely on a trained eye, a real closet, and a real conversation. Season Approved is designed to live alongside them — a way for a client to keep applying what they’ve learned between appointments and throughout everyday life.
A digital companion for everyday life after an analysis. We’d like clients to shop more intentionally, understand what they already own, buy less but buy better, make more outfits from the closet they have, and feel confident in their own decisions. We educate rather than dictate, and we guide rather than shame.
Only this: take a look around and tell us what you think. There’s nothing to promote and nothing to sign up for. If something doesn’t reflect how you teach, that’s exactly what we’d like to hear.
